Spider Veins

Before and After
Bluish-red, web-like spider veins commonly develop on either one or both legs, appearing in clusters or as isolated threads. Spider veins serve no purpose, they are "dead" veins. Your body does not utilize these veins.
Spider veins usually do not cause pain, swelling or cramping. They are referred to by the patient as being unsightly.
Laser treatment can quickly and safely remove these veins, leaving your skin smoother and beautiful again. The Lyra can be used on tanned and dark skin effectively without removing pigmentation.
How are spider and varicose veins treated?
A small spot of laser uses energy levels and wavelengths of light to be applied
to the skin. The blood will then absorb the light into the vein. The resulting
heat clots and then destroys function of the vein. Surrounding tissue is left
untouched. Over time, the body will naturally absorb the vein from sight.

Before and After
These abnormally dilated blood vessels associated with a number of diseases, can occur anywhere on the face or legs.
Expected Final Outcome
Usually takes only a few treatments. Improvement is immediate with continuous
enhancement for two weeks. New vessels may occur, depending on sun exposure and heredity.
